Thanksgiving
is a tool for multiplication. In Matthew 15:36, before Jesus multiplied the
loaves of bread and few fishes, He gave thanks. When you thank God for the
little you have, it creates room for multiplication. In Jeremiah 30:19, we saw how
the act of thanksgiving instigates the multiplication of the people from glory
to glory. When you show gratitude for the little you have, more will be given
to you. A father gives frequently to a son or daughter who shows gratitude.
He
that show gratitude will always receive more!
Thanksgiving
is also a tool for wholeness or completeness. In Luke 17:11-19, ten leapers
were healed by Jesus. Among the ten lepers, only one came back to thank God. He
that came to show gratitude was the only one that was made whole. Dear friend; if
you want to get the full package of the blessing you received, I employ you
today to go back and show gratitude to God. I believe Jesus Christ, expect the
ten leapers to come back to show gratitude. But to His greatest surprise, only
one came back. And he alone received the full package. You may have received
that which you desire, but you never know the full packages and blessings God
have for you only if you can return to Him with thanks.
Thanksgiving
is not merely seasonal, it is a regularly affair.
