What is MicroSD? It is a portable electronic device which helps in storing files, documents, apps, music, pictures etc in a device. MicroSD card assist device that has low internal storage capacity in storing of necessary files and not to run out of space. It is useful device with so many brands in the market.
The following are brands that are reliable in the market; SanDisk, Samsung, Kingston, Transcend, Panasonic and Sony. There are also fake MicroSD Card in the market but at least buy from a reliable source.

How do I detect a fake MicroSD?
Do not buy unbranded microSD; Some fake SD card also bears a popular brand name, check very well you will notice that it is not well written like for example Samsung original have both the name and capacity with the model written on it but the fake only Samsung is written on it.
Download the app SD insight; Download SD insight below, if you can not download direct, search for SD Insight when the site opens.

SD insight gives you information about the microSD card manufacturer, the model, serial number, and the capacity of the microSD. If it is fake one, it will not read anything. Many fake microSD capacities are not complete, most often 8GB is written on it, but actually it is 4GB. Some microSD will show invalid when inserted into in a device, while some will corrupt the files you try to transfer into it because they are fake one. If the capacity written on the microSD is not the same with that which was displayed when scanned with SD Insight, it then means that it is fake.
