FOUR STEPS TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Below are some of the steps that aid me to grow spiritually:

Step 1 – READ THE BIBLE DAILY: The easiest way to truly grow up in faith is to make Bible study a priority. Have a bible reading plan. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15).

Step 2 – FELLOWSHIP WITH OTHERS BELIEVERS REGULARLY: The reason we attend church or gather with other believers regularly is for teaching, fellowship, worship, communion, prayer and to build one another up in the faith. "And they continued steadfastly in the apostle doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common;" (Acts 2:42-44). Participating and fellowship with other believer in Christ is a fundamental to spiritual growth.

Step 3 – GET INVOLVE IN GROUP(S) IN CHURCH: Get involve in a group in the church. "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25). When get involve in group in church, it tend to motivate and give you the platform to explore yourself.

Step 4 – PRAY DAILY: Give thanks to the Lord daily for your salvation. Pray for others in need. Pray for direction. Pray without ceasing.(1 Thessalonian 5:17).
